How Advanced Gastroenterology Center (AGC) collects, uses, and protects patient information — including mobile numbers used for appointment text messages.

What information do we collect?

AGC may collect information that patients provide when scheduling an appointment, completing intake forms, contacting our office, or receiving care. This may include name, phone number, appointment information, insurance information, and other information needed to provide medical and administrative services.

How do we use your information?

We use patient information to schedule and confirm appointments, send appointment reminders, communicate with patients, provide medical services, process billing, and manage office operations. SMS text messaging is used only for appointment reminders, confirmations, scheduling updates, and related office communication.

How do you use my mobile phone number?

If you provide your mobile number and consent to receive SMS messages, AGC may use it to send appointment-related texts, including reminders, confirmations, scheduling updates, and instructions to contact the office if you need to reschedule. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Do you share SMS consent information?

No. AGC does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Can I opt out of text messages?

Yes. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message from Advanced Gastroenterology Center. After you reply STOP, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or call (908) 688-8080.

Are text messages secure?

SMS messages from AGC are intended for appointment and scheduling communication only. Do not use SMS for emergencies, urgent medical concerns, or detailed medical questions.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
