I’m a board-certified gastroenterologist and have practiced in Union County for more than 22 years. As a solo practitioner based in Rahway, I personally attend to every patient who walks through the door.

Consultations
A detailed history is taken and a comprehensive examination performed. Any records you bring are reviewed personally, and together we reach a shared decision on how to manage your condition. Further testing — blood work, imaging, or endoscopy — is always discussed with you during your visit.
Screening Colonoscopy
An endoscopic examination of the large intestine (colon) to protect you from colorectal cancer, the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States.
Upper Endoscopy
An endoscopic procedure to evaluate the upper digestive tract — the esophagus, stomach, and the first part of the small intestine (duodenum) — for reflux, ulcers, and tumors.
ERCP
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography — an advanced procedure that evaluates and treats conditions of the gallbladder, pancreas, and liver.
Endoscopic Ultrasound
Uses an ultrasound probe to image the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, and rectum — valuable for accurate cancer staging.
Barrett’s Esophagus Ablation (Barrx)
Barrett’s esophagus is an abnormal esophageal lining caused by long-standing acid reflux that can progress to cancer if untreated. We treat it endoscopically with the Barrx radiofrequency ablation device.
Hemorrhoid & Anal Fissure Care
Hemorrhoids are treated endoscopically with rubber-band ligation at their base. For anal fissures, scar tissue is vaporized to promote regrowth of healthy lining and support healing.

Hepatitis is treated promptly with appropriate therapy after evaluating disease stage and virus type. After treatment, patients enter a lifelong surveillance program for early detection of liver cancer, with transplant referral if needed.
